Keep up to date with the latest news and updates on human rights.

These email lists enable the Commission to keep you up to date about current human rights issues both at a domestic and international level.

Specific interest lists have been developed and are listed below.

If you want to receive information about from any of these lists, enter your email address, name (optional), select the relevant list(s) and then press the Subscribe button beneath the form.

The Priority list is the best one to subscribe to if you want information from many of the areas that the Commission covers.

Priority To receive ALL HREOC mailing list messages including media releases and announcements on all subjects covered by the Commission and job vacancies, join this list.
Human Rights Education Provides updates for teachers and educators on Human Rights Education initiatives and educational materials created by the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission.
Complaints and Legal Provides information on Complaint Handling processes and Legal work of the Commission, includes reports tabled in parliament of findings by HREOC of human rights breaches, notice of free HREOC legal seminars and the quarterly editions of the Human Right Law Bulletin.
Disability Rights Update Provides notification of significant updates to the disability rights section of this website and other activities of the Disability Rights Commissioner.
Employers Provides information on Anti-discrimination and harassment laws and practices.
Human Rights Includes information on a range of Human Rights Issues for which HREOC has responsibility such as: asylum seekers, children, mental illness, sexual preference, religion, age, political opinion and trade union activity.
Human Rights Awards Provides updates on the Annual Human Rights Medal & Awards including information on nominations, the Awards ceremony and the winners.
Indigenous Social Justice Includes information on Indigenous Social Justice and Native Title issues and activities of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner.
Racial Discrimination Includes information on the work of the Race Discrimination Commissioner, including information on research and educational programs under the Commission.
Sex Discrimination Provides updates on the projects undertaken by the Sex Discrimination Commissioner, as well as information on sex discrimination, sexual harassment, pregnancy and workplace discrimination.
