The Commission is looking to fill two Executive and Research Assistant positions in our Executive Team. The positions will provide comprehensive executive assistance and office management to the Human Rights Commissioner and the new National Children's Commissioner. The positions are at the APS Level 3/4, on a non-ongoing basis for up to 12 months with a possibility of becoming ongoing during this period. The salary range for these positions is $58,202 to $71,813 pa plus 15.4% superannuation.
The Executive and Research Assistant is responsible for diary management; travel/accommodation arrangements; database, file and record management (hardcopy and electronic); data entry; updating Commission webpages and the co-ordination of communication such as correspondence and telephone calls, including drafting responses on behalf of the Commissioner.
