Summary

This series of six eLearning modules aims to increase understanding of the rights of older workers and the benefits of employing older people within a multigenerational workforce.

The modules provide information about the rights and responsibilities of workers and employers and highlight practical ways of working with older employees to foster engagement and retention.

The training is divided into 5 short modules (approximately 15 minutes each) and one longer module (1.5-2 hours).

With support from the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, access to these eLearning modules is free of charge.

About the modules

These training modules aim to help employers and employees better understand the benefits of employing older people, and highlight practical ways of working with older employees to foster engagement and retention. Participants gain a deeper awareness of the nature of age discrimination in employment and learn practical ways of managing and working within a multigenerational workforce.

The training is divided into five short modules and one longer course which you are free to complete in your own time and at your own pace.
