The Print and Online Award is awarded for work published on human rights in Australian magazines, newspapers and websites.

The four finalists are as follows:

• Ellena Savage, Right Now – Secret Warzone. A powerful examination of domestic violence, incorporating the personal accounts of women affected by domestic abuse.
• Nick Olle, Sam Wallman, Pat Grant, Pat Armstrong, Sam Bungey, Mark Finger, Lauren Martin, The Global Mail – At Work Inside Our Detention Centres: A Guard's Story. A rare insight into the internal processes of outsourced detention centres.
• Jewel Topsfield, The Age – Dyslexia: The Invisible Disability. This article focuses on a young girl's experience of dyslexia, exposing Australia's inadequate social understanding of the disability.
• Peter Mares, Griffith Review – Refuge without work. An investigation into the impact of bridging visas on asylum seekers in Australia, exploring the practical and emotional consequences of a policy that excludes displaced people from employment.
