Webcast: Premises Standards awareness seminar 2010

Welcome to the webcast of the Premises Standards awareness seminar presented by the Australian Human Rights Commission and the Australian Building Codes Board.

The webcast includes captions and consists of two separate segments.

Part 1 provides information on the background to the development of the Premises Standards, the objectives, scope, triggers, exceptions and review. This part is presented by Michael Small from the Australian Human Rights Commission.

Part 2 provides an overview of the Access Code which includes details of the access requirements for particular Classes of building and areas of buildings covered by the Premises Standards. This part is presented by Kevin Newhouse from the Australian Building Codes Board.
