The Commissioner's investigation involved a series of expert roundtables, individual consultations and a submissions process.
New data was sourced for the Commissioner's national investigation to help build a picture of how children are affected - as witnesses, bystanders and victims. Comprehensive data about children is required to improve our understanding about the prevalence and impact of family and domestic violence on children at the national level.
