Access the Cultural Responsiveness in Action Framework by Indigenous Allied Health Australia to embed cultural safety in healthcare practice.
Summary
The IAHA Cultural Responsiveness Framework outlines the need for, and actions individuals and workplaces need to take, in order to provide culturally safe and responsive care and services that meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
About the framework
Developed in collaboration with IAHA's First Nations members and key stakeholders, the framework focuses on capability and development of individuals and workplaces.
The framework is action-oriented, centring cultural responsiveness through an Indigenous worldview - 'knowing, being and doing'.
