From: Sreedevi Aithal Sent: Monday, 7 December 2009 4:23 PM To: disabdis Subject: Captioning in cinemas Exempting the cinemas to provide captioning is highly discriminatory towards people with hearing handicap. It discriminates against the right for a person to relax and enjoy movies like any person without a hearing disability. I strongly condemn the exemption not to caption the movies for the hearing handicapped. Sree Aithal Sree Aithal Consultant Paediatric Audiologist The Townsville Hospital
