I wish to express my concerns about the application from the cinema industry to exempt them from 
the Disability Act for the next 2 years +.  This will further erode the range of entertainments available 
to deaf and hard-of-hearing people in the community (about one in five people).

Television stations are able to provide captions for a high proportion of programs – even real-time 
captions. ALL cinemas should be obliged to present at least one session per day at which ALL movies 
are captioned.
