Dear Sir/Madam
 
I wish to record my utter disgust at the sheer cheek of Village Roadshow, Greater Union, Hoyts and 
Reading Cinemas requesting exemption from the Disability Discrimination Act for a period of two and a 
half years.
 
Why do these Cinemas HATE deaf and other people with disabilities so much?
 
Their application should be rejected outright on the grounds that deaf and other people with disabilities 
have as much right to enjoy attending the cinema as any other person in society and no matter what 
grounds the Cinemas use to request exemption, the almight dollar has far more clout for these Cinemas 
than the rights of people with disabilities.
