I object
 
I love watching captioned movies at theatres around Melbourne. Yet I get frustrated with only 
one captioned movie a week at the Jam Factory. It only lasts one or two weeks. At the same 
time, hundreds movies show around the Metropolitan area for the wider community. That is not 
fair for Deaf people who have very limited choices. Also I live in Beaumaris which is a bit long 
way from my place to the Jam Factory. I often wish I could enjoy captioned movies at either 
Southland or Brighton theatres.
 
I believe we have a right to have more captioned movies so we have better access to theatres 
around the Metropolitan area.
