To whom it may concern
 
I am joining my voice among others in dissent against the cinemas' attempt to be exempt from 
Disability Discrimination Act for any length of time. This is a backward step and against the 
spirit of fairness and equal access to all members of the society. We are still very much 
backwards in terms of making entertainment accessible to deaf and hard of hearing members of 
the society with rest of our peer countries - UK, US, Ireland, Canada, NZ. If anything we should 
be progressing forward. Once more, I voice my dissent strongly against the cinemas' attempt to 
be exempt from Disability Discrimination Act for any length of time.
