To whom it may concern

My 15 year old son is severe profoundly deaf and relies on hearing  
aids - he is already extremely limited by the lack of captioned and  
loop system movies offered at cinemas.  It has taken so long for  
television to improve and the TV digital box has been a vast  
improvement over all.  However cinemas are going backward - they are a  
multi million dollar business making very good profits - it is  
completely unacceptable to let them have an exemption for providing  
captioning, things should be improving not going backwards for  
disadvantaged people in Australia.
