Subject:	Exemption application by Cinemas from Disability Discrimination Act

I strongly object to this application from cinema chains requesting an  
exemption form the above act.

Everyone should be able to participate fully in everyday activities.  
All members of a community should be able to join friends and families  
in sharing the experience of viewing a movie at a cinema at a time of  
their choosing. Many fund raising and social events take place at  
movies. For too long they have been excluded.

Large organisations have had years to address issues of equality and  
access for all members of the public but have chosen not to act until  
legistaion forces change. Now they want to delay even further. This is  
unacceptable.
