Dear Sir/Madam I am writing you an email to express my concern about the 4 Big Cinemas Greater Union, Village, Hoyts and Birch Carroll & Coyle I am expressing about the discriminations against the Deaf or Hard of Hearing that i am Deaf myself. I do really enjoying go to the cinemas but its very limited to the access i am having at the moment. Like its had limited time and days. At the moment there is only one cinema for the captions cinema in Birch Carroll & Coyle in Myer Centre Elizabeth St Brisbane. Very costly to park in the city and stressful. How many cinemas around in Brisbane so its lives by the local area. I would like to go to Chemside to watch the movies there its close by my home. I have spoken to hearing freinds of mine they felt very appauling to travel to the city use the limited uses of the cinema I am working full time with alot of hectic timetable. I am sure many hearing people do have anytime access to the cinemas and enjoying the time of lesuire in their own choices. Even their timetable is hectic too. As i find its quite appauling to "had to put it up" the limited cinema for the captioned cinema. Also Australia is approaching into the population with the 2.2 millions people who suffered hearing loss. But that not counted as the industrial hearing loss too. You would be surprised many will support that captions in the cinemas. The 4 big cinemas considering to put the excemption with captions in the Cinemas limited used in caption only one places they can go there and also not allowed to sue the Cinemas for 2.5 years. In USA and UK have 99.9 percent to use the captions cinemas anywhere and anytime. Please don't hestitate to contact with me i would be happy to discussed with you as indivudual based Naida Linder
