To Whom It May Concern
I understand the four major cinema groups, Village Roadshow, Greater
Union, Hoyts and Reading Cinemas have made an application for
exemption from the Disability Discrimination Act for 2.5 years. I
sincerely plea that this approval not be granted as it is a disgrace,
a backward step and not in the spirit of the goals of the National
Arts and Disability Strategy to enhance accessibility and inclusive
practices in film, television and the broadcast industry.
