From: Amy McFall Sent: Wednesday, 25 November 2009 1:16 PM To: disabdis Subject: To Whom it may concern Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to voice my concerns regarding the recent application made my Village roadshow, Greater Union, Hyots and Reading Cinemas to be exempt from the Disability Discrimination act for a period of 2 and a half years. This news upsets me as I am legally blind and use a Guide dog, as do many of my friends and we attend each of these cinemas on a regular basis. I find it unfair and disrespectful that these cinemas do not have enough respect for people like myself who like to live as everyone else and need other technology to do so, I hope that with people voicing their concerns and realising that its not the right thing to do, that cinemas will not be exempt and people with a disability can access cinemas just the same as everyone else.
