Subject:	Disagree with Cinema Industries request for exemption from the 
Disibility Discrimination Act

To Whom It May Concern
 
I have heard through the grapevine that the Cinema Industry has applied for exemption from the Disability 
Discrimination Act in relation to captioning for the next two and a half years.
 
I find this very hard to believe that they do not want to support a community of deaf or hard of hearing people 
and if exempt from this Act, it will dramatically reduce the number of cimenas that will offer captioning 
services.
 
I would like to put forward my disagreeance in regards to this matter and I hope that this request by the 
Cinema Industry will not be accepted.
