Hi there,
My name is Maggie Scott. I am severely deaf and also a film fanatic.
It is extremely important for myself and other deaf people to be able to enjoy films with the option of 
captions.
 
I strongly oppose the exemption that the Cinema industry has applied for from the Disability 
Discrimination Act in relation to captioning for the next two and a half years. 
Furthermore, the captioning of films for cinematic release will only assist with more captioning for more 
films at the point of DVD release.
I hope my voice will be heard.
