Dear Sir/madam,
 
I am writing to voice my opposition to the proposal to reduce the number of cinema showings with captions.
 
As  a professional working with severe to profoundly deaf adults and those learning to use a cochlear 
implant, this proposal is discriminatory and will exclude many deaf and hard of hearing people from 
attending the cinema with their hearing friends at socially acceptable times.
 
I hope that this proposal will be revised
