Hi, 

I would like to voice and opinion on the recent exceptions being sought regarding Captioned screenings of 
movies in Victorian Cinemas.

I currently employ 8 deaf staff and I emailing you in support of increasing the availability of these services 
in Victoria as soon as possible.

The staff that I employ enjoy the social scene of the going to the cinema as much as any hearing person, 
however unfortunately it is not as readably available to them or their children to enjoy as it is for me.

My deaf staff requested I read an article printed in “The Age” regarding this issue and it advised to email 
your opinions in regards to this to show your support.

Therefore in light of my understanding of the obstacles they face in regards to availability of captioned 
cinema, I would like to voice my support to increase these services.
