I recently become aware that some of the larger cinemas have requested a time exception from being accountable under the Disability Discrimination Act in regard to making their facilities accessible e.g. with captioning and audio description. As a consumer this is of great concern to me. The fact that an organization can ask not to be accountable under this Act is extraordinary, this legislation was enacted to facilitate inclusion not exclusion Regards Debra . Debra Simons
