TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I would like to oppose the application for exemption of the Cinema Industry from the Disability 
Discrimination Act in relation to captioning for the next two and a half years.  

The hearing impaired community has every right to be able to attend the cinema and enjoy 
movies as much as the average hearing person. 

To delay the implementation knowing the difficulties the hearing impaired face and having the 
solution is a breach of their human rights.
