If I went for a job and they said I couldn’t have the job because I have a disability I would feel heart broken.  I think I should be treated the same as others.  I think people with a disability should have the right to be involved in the community just as much as others.

Since 2010 I have continued to live in my own place. I didn’t want to live in a group home.  I wanted to have the same opportunities like my brothers.

The reason I left the day program was because I didn’t feel part of the community like I do in Hawthorn. During the past 5 years I have met a lot of people.  I actually feel the community is part of me. It’s part of my life and I’m part of the community.

I think my life is brilliant.  All people should be part of the community.
