Vacancies at the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission are advertised in this section. The Commission encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from non-English speaking backgrounds and people with disabilities.

IT HELP DESK OFFICER

Highly motivated IT Help Desk person required to join HREOC's busy IT Services Section as a Help Desk Officer
The successful applicant will provide support and trouble shooting of MS Office applications, Hardware/Software installation and troubleshooting and assist in the support of remote devices. Working with technologies such as Avaya VoIP, Windows XP and Vista, Office 2007, Exchange 2007 and Active Sync devices

LIBRARY TECHNICIAN

A part time Library technician is required to assist in the administration of the Commission’s information resources through the FIRST library system, including accessioning of serials, setting serial prediction patterns, the processing of loans, returns and reserves. The successful applicant will participate in the development and maintenance of the FIRST catalogue with copy cataloguing and the downloading of records from Libraries Australia and assist with other routine library collection maintenance tasks.
