About the 2025 nomination

Belinda is a human rights lawyer and founder of Intrepidus Law, a disability rights law firm. She uses the law to achieve life changing support for people with disability, often reversing decisions that force people into shared housing.

Her 2024 testimony before the senate inquiry on the NDIS Amendment Bill highlighted the impact of reforms on women with disability and unpaid carers, and a lack of procedural fairness and appeal rights.
Belinda restores dignity, autonomy and freedom from degrading treatment for her clients.
