About the 2025 nomination

Womn-Kind is a youth-led, female-founded mental health organisation transforming support for adolescent girls and gender-diverse young people across Australia, particularly in regional, rural and remote communities.

The organisation delivers innovative services through school workshops, a social wellness app, podcast and partnerships with community groups and government. The organisation has already supported more than 25,000 young people, providing daily support to over 5,000 users. Founder Ruby Riethmuller also serves as Deputy Commissioner (Lived Experience) at the Mental Health Commission of NSW.
