About the complaint
The complainant is neurodivergent and applied to the respondent organisation for placement in its internship program. He alleged he was not provided with reasonable adjustments during the interview and his application was unsuccessful.
On being notified of the complaint, the organisation indicated a willingness to try to resolve the complaint by conciliation.
The complaint was resolved with an agreement that the organisation reconsider the complainant’s application, offer him another interview and pay him $100. The organisation undertook to review and improve its recruitment process for its internship program and hiring of employees.
