About the complaint
The complainant alleged an employee of the respondent removalist she hired through the respondent moving business asked her intrusive and inappropriate questions about her weight, her relationship status, whether she had children and whether she owned the property. She alleged he sexually harassed her by picking her up without her consent and squeezing her bottom.
The respondents denied the allegations and agreed to participate in conciliation.
The complaint was resolved with an agreement that the respondents apologise to the complainant and pay her $1,500.
