About the complaint
The complainant alleged that during an interstate work trip, a colleague took her room key without her knowledge, entered her room without her consent and raped her. The complainant said she reported the incident to the respondent company and the police the following day and had not been fit to return to work since that time.
The company said it took the matter very seriously and offered the complainant support until she resigned from her employment. The complainant's former colleague claimed the sexual intercourse was consensual.
The complaint was resolved with an agreement that the company pay the complainant $150,000.
