The National Anti-Racism Partnership, led by Dr Szoke, will deliver a comprehensive strategy that has been directly shaped by the views of Australians from all parts of the country, to prevent and respond to racism.
Federal Race Discrimination Commissioner Dr Helen Szoke will unveil the National Anti-Racism Strategy in Melbourne today alongside the Attorney-General Nicola Roxon and the Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Senator Kate Lundy.
Racial discrimination is when a person is treated less favourably than another person in a similar situation because of their race, colour, descent, national or ethnic origin or immigrant status.
