This entails moving beyond compliance and ‘disability confidence’ towards a new paradigm for disability inclusion. UQ seeks to become ‘disability courageous’ which means dismantling current ‘deficit models’ of disability tolerance/acceptance and reframing them as ‘ability diversity’.
