The Inquiry Report was released on 2 May 2016. 

In March 2015, the Attorney-General requested that the Australian Human Rights Commission undertake a National Inquiry into Employment Discrimination against Older Australians and Australians with Disability. The Inquiry was conducted by the Hon. Susan Ryan AO in her capacity as Age Discrimination Commissioner, and a report was published in May 2016. One of former Age Discrimination Commissioner, the Hon. Dr Kay Patterson's projects was working on the implementation of key recommendations from the report. Dr Patterson worked with relevant ministers and senior public servants, the Human Resources Institute, the business sector and other key stakeholders to promote the recommendations of Willing to Work (W2W).
