RightsTalk: David Marr biography

David Marr abandoned the law to write for the Fairfax press and broadcast for ABC radio and television including a stint as presenter of Media Watch. His books include the lives of Garfield Barwick and Patrick White and collections of essays on politics, the church, censorship and law. A new edition of "Political Animal: The making of Tony Abbott" was published in April 2013. He now writes for the Guardian.
