About the Project

The Australian Human Rights Commission has completed a three-year project on the human rights implications of new technologies.  

As part of this project, the Commission produced a:

The Final Report 

The project culminated in the Final Report which sets out a roadmap for responsible innovation—taking advantage of the promise of new technology, while upholding our human rights. The Report’s recommendations will help ensure that new technologies are developed and used in ways that are inclusive, accountable, and with robust human rights safeguards. 

The project was completed in 2021.
