Sexual harassment prevention training

The Commission delivers two training packages in the area sexual harassment prevention:
- Sexual harassment prevention (half-day workshop)
- Sexual harassment prevention (e-learning course)

Training Overview
This half-day workshop aims to enhance participants general understanding of workplace sexual harassment. Participants gain a deeper awareness of the nature and prevalence of workplace sexual harassment and how they can implement strategies to prevent workplace sexual harassment and be an effective bystander. Key content covered includes definitions and prevalence of sexual harassment, barriers to reporting, expectations of the employer, strategies to prevent workplace sexual harassment.
Learning outcomes
The workshop’s key learning outcomes are:
- Increased understanding of sexual harassment in a workplace context
- Increased understanding of the legal framework surrounding sexual harassment
- Increased understanding of the impact sexual harassment may have on individuals and the workplace
- Increased understanding of the repercussions and consequences of sexual harassment
- Increased ability to respond to sexual harassment in the workplace
