AGENDA

Hobart Hearing

Monday, 25 September 2006

Conference Room, Level 9, 15 Murray Street, Hobart

The fourth public hearing for the Same-Sex: Same Entitlements National Inquiry will be held in Hobart. More than 350 submissions have been received in response to a Discussion Paper released when the National Inquiry was launched in April 2006.

The public hearings give individuals the opportunity to talk about how discriminatory laws have a direct impact on their lives and also allow organisations to expand on their submissions to the Inquiry.

The hearings will be conducted by Human Rights Commissioner Graeme Innes AM.
