Exemption applications under the Age Discrimination Act 2004 (Cth)
Section 44 of the Age Discrimination Act 2004 (Cth) gives the Commission the power to grant temporary exemptions from certain provisions of the Act. In 1992 all Australian Governments initiated the National Mental Health Strategy to correct decades of neglect and assure the rights of people with mental illness.
