This submission is made by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner on behalf of the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission (HREOC) of Australia. In recent years the Commissioner has undertaken many activities relating to the rights of Indigenous children.
