Social Justice Report 2005 : Recommendations and follow up actions
In accordance with the functions set out in section 46C(1) (a) of the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission Act 1986 (Cth), this report includes 5 recommendations - 3 in relation to Achieving health equality for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people s and 2 in relation to the new arrangement in Indigenous affairs. The report also contains 5 follow up actions that my office will undertaken over the next twelve months in relation to the new arrangements. HREOC Website: Isma - Listen: National consultations on eliminating prejudice against Arab and Muslim Australias
These notes summarise three separate consultations attended by 31 primary school students in Years 5 and 6 from three government primary schools in the Fairfield, Port Jackson and Bondi school districts in the Sydney metropolitan area. The meetings were organised with the assistance of the NSW Department of Education and Training and participating schools. Most students who took part in the consultations were either Muslim or from an Arabic-speaking background. Students were required to obtain permission from their parents in order to take part in the meetings. -

Supplementary information to the Inquiry into Cyber Safety for Senior Australians
Information about cyber safety needs to be extended to offline media platforms in order to reach older Australians who are not yet online and may have concerns about going online due to safety issues. Older Australians are still very loyal to traditional media platforms such as TV, radio and print.[1] The following media settings and publications target older Australians and could be good avenues for information and publicity about cyber safety. -

Appendix 5 - Overview of the National Partnership Agreement on Remote Service Delivery: Social Justice Report 2010
The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) National Partnership Agreement for Remote Service Delivery came into effect in January 2009 and will run to 30 June 2014. It is a joint commitment by all Australian governments to a ‘concentrated and accelerated approach to tackle deep-seated disadvantage’ in remote communities.[1] The Partnership is premised on a place-based initiative, targeting 29 remote priority locations across Australia for a whole-of-government approach to service delivery.
