The declaration was a response to the trauma that many of the world’s nations had experienced in World War II. The staff consisted of Anti-Racism Contact Officers, Community Information Officers and primary and secondary teachers. The meetings were organised by the Department and facilitated by Omeima Sukkarieh and attended by Meredith Wilkie or Edwina Rankin from HREOC. -
